These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all orders, sales, and services provided by Heatox Ltd, a UK-based manufacturer of electric heating elements. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, shipping, and handling unless explicitly included.
- Orders are subject to acceptance by Heatox and must be confirmed in writing (email is acceptable).
- Custom heater orders are considered final and are not cancellable once production has begun.
2. Pricing & Payment
- Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Heatox reserves the right to charge statutory interest and debt recovery costs on overdue invoices, as permitted under the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing prior to dispatch in the event of material cost increases or currency fluctuation.
3. Delivery & Lead Times
- Lead times provided are estimates only and not guaranteed. Heatox is not liable for any loss or damage arising from delivery delays.
- Title of goods passes to the customer upon full payment. Risk passes upon delivery.
- All shipping and handling charges are payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
4. Custom-Made Products
- Custom cartridge heaters are manufactured to specification and cannot be returned unless faulty.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all dimensions, voltages, and specifications are accurate at the time of ordering.
- Minor manufacturing tolerances apply as detailed in our product datasheets.
5. Returns & Warranty
- Standard products may be returned within 14 days with prior written authorisation and may be subject to a restocking fee.
- Custom-made items are non-returnable unless proven to be defective in materials or workmanship.
- Heatox offers a 6-month warranty on cartridge heaters under normal operating conditions, excluding failure due to:
- Incorrect fitment or application
- Exposure to contamination (e.g. adhesives, grease)
- Over-voltage, excessive cycling, or improper temperature control
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence and usage details.
6. Technical Advice & Application Use
- Heatox provides technical guidance to the best of our knowledge, but ultimate responsibility for heater selection and performance lies with the customer.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or downtime resulting from incorrect application or misuse of our products.
7. Intellectual Property
All technical drawings, product designs, content, and materials produced by Heatox remain the property of Heatox Ltd unless explicitly transferred in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Heatox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products, including production downtime, loss of profit, or business interruption.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods supplied.
9. Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
